Darlene
As a proud mom of four boys, caring for children has always been a meaningful part of my life. When my children were younger, I ran my own home daycare for several years, creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where children could learn, play, and feel right at home.
For the past 18 years, I’ve worked in healthcare leadership, developing strong skills in communication, organization, compassion, and staying calm in busy situations. I truly enjoy connecting with children through crafts, games, singing, and creative activities that help them feel comfortable, engaged, and included.
Known for my patient, caring, and calm nature, I love creating positive experiences for both children and parents. My goal is always to help little ones feel happy, safe, and cared for so families can relax and fully enjoy their special celebrations.

Mila
Mila is currently completing her Bachelor of Social Work at Western/King’s University and is deeply passionate about supporting others and creating meaningful connections within her community. Her passion for social work comes from a genuine desire to help people feel seen, supported, and empowered, while contributing, even in small ways, to making the world a kinder and more compassionate place.
A large part of Mila’s experience has centered around working with children and youth, an area she feels especially connected to. She has worked with several schools across London, including London Central Secondary School, Old North Public School, and C.C. Carrothers Public School, where she supported students academically, socially, and emotionally through mentorship, classroom support, and individualized learning activities. Through the Forest City program, she gained meaningful experience working alongside children and youth with disabilities and diverse learning needs, helping adapt lessons and activities to support each student’s unique strengths and goals. These experiences further strengthened her belief in the importance of patience, advocacy, inclusion, and creating environments where every child feels valued and capable.
Outside of school settings, Mila has spent over 10 years babysitting children of various ages and backgrounds, experiences that helped shape her caring, empathetic, and supportive approach when working with families and youth. She also ran her own private tutoring business, where she worked one-on-one with students to help build confidence, encourage growth, and create positive learning experiences tailored to each individual child.
Sports have also played a major role in Mila’s life and leadership journey. She has been involved in track and field for over 10 years and has coached athletes for the past 3 years through the London Western Track and Field Club. Coaching has taught her the value of mentorship, encouragement, and helping young people recognize their own potential both on and off the field.
Mila is passionate about creating safe, inclusive, and empowering spaces where children and youth feel supported, heard, and encouraged to grow into the best versions of themselves. She hopes to continue building a career rooted in compassion, advocacy, and meaningful human connection.”
